I am a Cape Town based, full time working mother of two wonderfull children, Annibelle & Nathan and wife to my darling husband Trevor. I shoot from my home studio in Bellville. Offering a relaxing fun filled photo shoot.

My photography journey started just over two years ago. I worked for some time, taking as many photos as possible for as many friends as possible. Slowly but surely building my portfolio.

Having the support of my husband, I succeeded and looking back, I can’t believe how blessed I have been over the past 30 months.

Juggling a career, motherhood, wifehood (I don’t even think there is such a word ) and then also taking photos every Saturday, was no easy task, but that was just it. It was such a big delight for me, that I never saw it as work. Rather part of my me time. Having to do all my editing while the children are sleeping, also proofed to be no easy task, but hey, I am here, and I am still alive. It did however, mean a lot of late nights, and then early mornings again, but that is all part of it.

If at any stage you asked me three years ago whether I would be so succesfull, I doubt I would have said yes. Having done 56 shoots during 2009, I am still at awe at the amount of clients that contacts me, and the amount of shoots, seeing that I do not do photography full time.
