These questions and answers will help you decide whether Natacha Wadsworth Photography is the right photographer to capture the essence of your family, and it will also help you prepare for your upcoming shoot.
Where is the studio located??

I am Cape Town based, and my home based studio is in Bellville (Northern Suburbs)
What do you photograph?

I specialize in children, family, maternity and boudoir photography.
Where do you conduct sessions?

My studio is in Bellville(Northern Suburbs), but I also travel to suitable outdoor locations (weather permitted). I also travel to the Boland and West Coast, but this is only by request. If you want a session further than 50km from Bellville, please contact me for specific pricing information.
When are you open?

I only work on appointment basis, usually only over weekends.
How far in advance do I need to schedule my session?

If you would like a weekend session, I often book as far as two months in advance. I also only work two weekends a month, so this make booking your session in advance very important.
When should I book my maternity session?

I usually advise someone that had a normal problem free pregnancy, to book a session between 32 – 36 weeks, otherwise I would advise you to contact me sooner, to book a session., if at any stage you may be advised that you may go into premature labour, I would accomodate you at any time, to capture that last fleeting moment of you life.
What age do you recommend my baby to be photographed?

For new born photos, I would suggest an appointment within 14 days of his/her birth. This ensures nice small bundled up baby photos. And as baby is still very sleepy at this stage, they tend to work better. I strongly advise my clients to book their new born session during your pregnancy, for around his/her due date. If baby decides to come earlier or later, I will then accomodate you on my schedule. This ensures that your session is booked.
What age do you recommend if I missed the new born stage?

I will then suggest you to contact me as soon as your baby can hold up his/her head up high on her own. This will give you a much wider range of shots as opposed to baby not being able to lift up his/her head.

The next stage of photographs I do recommend would be as soon as your baby can sit up on his/her own. Whether this is at 6 months, or only at 10 months. This is usually also combined with the fact that your baby will now also become mobile, and more friendly.

Then I also recommend a session for your baby’s 1st birthday. Bring a cake, balloons, and let your baby come smash the cake for the camera. This is always a fun filled session.
What if my loved one becomes sick or have scratches or bruises?

As a mother I understand that a child gets sick. And then it usually happens at the most unexpected and unusual time. If this happens, we reschedule your shoot. No problem!

If you child have scratches or bruises, I will however to slight digital touch ups. Please note that I cannot perform miracles, but I can take away minor bumps and bruises.
