Elizna and myself have been online friends for sometime, and Ettiene was one of the very first children that I posted on my website almost three years ago.
He is now a gorgeous 4 year old, and also big brother to Christiaan.
Christiaan was not interested in smiling, but in the end he was sitting on my lap while I was taking photos of mommy and daddy. This is why I love doing this. It’s those small moments that I get a hug and a kiss from a shy child that makes it all so wonderfull!

Liora contacted me a few weeks ago for a family shoot for today. I usually do not work on Sunday’s as Sunday is a family day for me, but she is an old client and I will always accomodate my clients.
Her parents is visiting Cape Town and she wanted to do a photo shoot with Racheli and her parents.
So off to their lovely family home I went.

I am terribly behind in not just blogging but editing as well.
I have delivered this order allready, and I only managed to blog these stunning photos tonight!
I hurt my back about two weeks ago, and I ended up getting physiotherapy. I have Faiza before, so I just loved having someone to chat to. She is not just an amazing physiotherapist, she is also a lovely person and we became instant friends.
It was only on my last day of physiotherapy that she discovered that I take photos. And seeing as it was her mother’s birthday, she booked a shoot as a surprise for her mother.
So the whole family rocked up at my studio the sunday, all armed for the shoot. As you will see from the photos, they all had an absolute ball!

Griffin brought his mommy for a photo shoot on Saturday morning. As you can see we had loads of fun and laughter!
I just love shooting children as their innocence absolutely bowls me over. And this was exactly what happened with little Griffin. we ended our shoot with huggs and kisses like only a three year old can give, and I just love to be on the receiving end!

I haven’t uploaded any new shoots that I have done over the past three weeks. THREE WEEKS!!! And I know everyone has been waiting patiently for these photos. Sorry!
I had a lovely TFCD photo shoot with fellow photographers Fiona Byrns, Alex Bond-Smith, Catherine Scott and Andre van Rooyen out at Kalbaskraal on the N7 outside Cape Town. The lovely Jerusha had to pose in freezing weather, but at the end of the day, I am sure it was well worth it.
But before I got to have Jerusha in front of the lense, I had to opportunity to shoot the sweetest child ever! Fiona brought her son with, and I just loved shooting him! Callum is a gorgeous child!
Now it’s Jarusha’s turn!
Now a little bit more about Jerusha. She is a lovely person, and a walking work of art. I am too scared to go for my first tattoo and you should see the ink on this girl! It’s hectic! I am in awe!!!!!
I have also been very bad at editing, because I still haven’t finished editing her photos!
But I will get there! SOON I HOPE!
